1.Performance and use:
Fluorosilicic acid is the basic raw material for the production of sodium fluorosilicate, potassium, ammonium, magnesium, copper, barium, lead and other fluorosilicates and silicon tetrafluoride. It is used in metal plating, wood preservation, beer disinfection, brewing industry equipment disinfection (1% to 2% H2SiF6) and lead electrolytic refining. It is also used as mordant and metal surface treatment agent. Used as an analytical reagent, determination of barium, separation of barium and strontium.

3.Packaging and storage

The warehouse is ventilated and dry at low temperature; store separately from food additives and alkalis. As fluosilicic acid is strongly corrosive, special measures need to be taken when storing it. Firstly, materials with good acid resistance should be used to store fluosilicic acid, such as polyethylene plastic containers or glass containers. The storage container should be well sealed and placed in a dry, well-ventilated area. The storage area should be kept away from sources of ignition and flammable materials. For large-scale storage of fluorosilicic acid, specially designed storage tanks or tanks with corresponding safety facilities and leakage alarm systems can be used.

4.Safety protection
If inhaled, remove patient to fresh air. If breathing stops, administer artificial respiration.
Skin contact Flush with soap and plenty of water.
EYE CONTACT Use caution and flush eyes with water.
