Application: MBT (Na) can be used as a copper corrosion inhibitor in circulating cooling water systems. The corrosion inhibition effect of MBT (Na) mainly relies on a chemical adsorption reaction with active copper atoms or copper ions on the surface of metallic copper; Alternatively, chelation may occur to form a dense and strong protective film, providing good protection for copper equipment. The recommended dosage is generally 4mg/L. MBT (Na) can also be used as a plasticizer, acid copper plating photometric agent, etc.
