Nickel chloride
CAS NO.7718-54-9
MF:Cl2Ni
MW:129.6
1.Performance and use:
In organic synthesis, nickel chloride can be used as a catalyst for the dehalogenation reaction of halogenated alkanes and aromatic hydrocarbons. In inorganic synthesis, nickel chloride can be used to synthesize metal salts such as copper chloride and cadmium chloride. In analytical chemistry, nickel chloride can be used as a precipitant for the separation and detection of ions. In addition, nickel chloride can be used as an additive in electroplating solutions for the production of high-precision nickel alloy films. In lithium-ion batteries, nickel chloride can be mixed with materials such as cobalt hydroxide and manganese oxide to form positive electrode materials. This hybrid material can give the battery the characteristics of high energy density and high performance.

3.Packaging and storage
25kg/bag,Weathering in dry air, deliquescence in humid air, sublimation in vacuum can quickly absorb ammonia, lose some crystal water when heated, and completely lose crystal water when exceeding 140 ºC to become yellow brown anhydrous nickel chloride. Easy to dissolve in water, ethanol, and ammonia, with aqueous solutions being acidic.
