Product Description

1. Properties and Uses
HDTMPA is white crystalline powder at room temperature, slightly soluble in water, its solubility is less than 5% at room temperature.
HDTMPA can inhibit the generation of various scales (such as calcium carbonate scale, calcium sulphate scale, barium sulphate scale and iron oxide scale, etc.), but it is mainly used to inhibit calcium sulphate and barium sulphate scale in water treatment. Among various organophosphonic acids, its performance in inhibiting calcium sulphate scale is outstanding, not only the scale inhibition rate is high, but also the effective time is long, so it is especially suitable for extrusion treatment in oil field.HDTMPA can also be used in boiler water treatment.
