1.Performance and use:
Used as analytical reagent, photographic fixing agent and reducing agent.
Used as food preservative, oxidising agent and initiator of polymer.
Used as raw material for manufacturing persulfate and hydrogen peroxide in chemical industry, and as co-polymerisation agent in organic polymerisation. It is used as bleaching agent in grease and soap industry. It is also used as corrosive agent in metal plate etching and cutting, and oil extraction in petroleum industry.
Food grade used as wheat modifier, beer yeast mould inhibitor.
