1. Product Propertie
Aluminum sulfate without iron is white crystal, specific gravity is 1.69(by AL2(SO4)-18H2O), easy to absorb moisture and agglomerate when stored in air for a long time. Dehydration temperature is 86.5 degrees Celsius, soluble in water, acid and alkali, insoluble in alcohol, aqueous solution is acidic. It is used as sizing agent for paper and flocculant for drinking water, industrial water and wastewater treatment, and it is also the raw material for the production of artificial gemstones and other aluminum salts, such as ammonia alum, potassium alum and refined aluminum sulfate. In addition, aluminum sulfate is also widely used in high-quality clarifying agent, petroleum deodorizing and decolorizing agent, concrete waterproofing agent, high-grade paper whitening, titanium dioxide after film treatment and catalyst carrier production.
