1. Performance and use
DTPMPA is non-toxic, easily soluble in acidic solution, with good scale and corrosion inhibition effect and good temperature resistance, it can inhibit the generation of carbonate and sulphate scale, and its scale and corrosion inhibition performance is better than that of other organic phosphines in alkaline environment and high temperature (above 210ºC).DTPMPA is used as a scale and corrosion inhibitor in circulating cooling water and boiler water in water treatment, it is especially suitable for use in alkaline circulating cooling water as scale and corrosion inhibitor without adjusting pH, and it can be used in oilfield injection water and cooling water and boiler water containing high barium carbonate; in compounding chemicals, it is used alone without dispersing agent. DTPMPA can be used as scale and corrosion inhibitor for oilfield water injection, cooling water and boiler water with high barium carbonate content; it can be used alone in compounding agent without adding dispersant, and the amount of fouling deposition is still very small.
DTPMPA can also be used as peroxide stabilizer (especially good effect of hydrogen peroxide stabilization under high temperature conditions), chelating agent for textile printing and dyeing, dispersant of pigment, oxygen delignification stabilizer, carrying agent of trace elements in chemical fertilizer, and concrete additive. In addition, it is also widely used in papermaking, electroplating, metal pickling and cosmetics. It can also be used as stabilizer for oxidizing fungicides.
2. Usage
DTPMPA is generally used as scale inhibitor with a concentration of 1-30mg/L, and as cleaning agent with a concentration of 1000-2000mg/L; it is usually used with polycarboxylic acid-type scale inhibitor and dispersant. When used in other industries, the dosage should be determined according to the test.

3. Packing and storage
DTPMPA is packed in plastic drums, 30kg per drum or according to the needs of users. It should be stored in a cool and indoor place, the storage period is 12 months.
4. Safety Protection
DTPMPA is acidic, pay attention to labor protection during operation, avoid contact with skin, eyes, etc., rinse with plenty of water after contact.
