1.Performance and use:
Turpentine is widely used as a chemical raw material, and has access to turpentine in industries such as art glass, paints, camphor manufacture, pharmaceuticals and rosin production. Turpentine is an excellent solvent with strong solvency for organic substances and is traditionally used in paints, drying agents, ointments, shoe polish, adhesives and pharmaceuticals. The use of turpentine in the main components, after reprocessing, in the synthetic chemicals and fragrances developed a lot of new products.
(1) synthetic turpentine alcohol: α-pinene in sulfuric acid catalysed, easy to open the ring hydration generated hydrated terpene glycol, hydrated terpene glycol in dilute acid under the action of 1 molecule of water to get terpene alcohol mixtures, the main component of α-turpentine alcohol (see turpentine alcohol, pine oil).
(2) Synthetic camphor: under the action of titanium dioxide, pinene isomerises to form camphene. Camphene and formic acid or glacial acetic acid reaction to generate isoborneol ester, hydrolysis of isoborneol. After hydrolysis, isoborneol is obtained. Then the synthetic camphor is dehydrogenated.
(3) Linalool: α-pinene hydrogenated into pinane, pinane peroxide by air oxidation, reduced to get pinanol, and then by thermal cracking and linalool, is a large variety of spices, but also the synthesis of vitamin E intermediates, esterification of linalyl acetate and other esters.
(4) β-pinene pyrolysis into lauricene, is the largest spice intermediates. Lauryl can be made of geraniol, nerol, new belladonna aldehyde, citrus green aldehyde, as well as ambergris and wood with ambergris ketone and strong animal aroma of bicyclic enolenic nitrile so on. From lauric acid linalyl acetate reaction with sodium acetate after hydrochlorination, and then saponification can also get linalool.
(5) China horsetail pine turpentine oil contains more sesquiterpenes longifolene and stilbene. Longifolene in the acid catalysed by isomerization of isofolium, isofolium ketone, epoxy isofolium, hydroxymethyl isofolium acetate and other raw materials, they have a woodsy aroma. Longifolia alkene with formic acid treatment, the generation of wood-flavoured formic acid esters. Stilbene acetylation can be obtained acetyl stilbene, it will epoxide to epoxy stilbene, with floral aroma, its ketone has wood and ambergris. As turpentine oil in a variety of monoterpenes and sesquiterpenes and their isomers in the diversity of compounds, making it possible to synthesise a variety of products, has a wide range of uses. There are also many new products to be developed and utilised.

3.Packaging and storage
175kg/ drum
Turpentine should be kept in a dark-coloured bottle, closed and protected from light. Turpentine that has been stored for too long, if not well preserved, will gradually turn yellow and evaporate, deteriorate and become sticky, and cannot be used again.
4.Safety protection
If inhaled, remove patient to fresh air. If breathing stops, administer artificial respiration.
Skin contact Flush with soap and plenty of water.
EYE CONTACT Use caution and flush eyes with water.
